WW2 "GQ" Badge Saved by Parachute badge
"GQ" club badge, an English version of the Caterpillar Club pin, this WW2 "GQ" badge was created by James Gregory & Raymond Quilter/ They were the founders of the G.Q. Parachute Company in the UK. The badge was issued to airmen who used their company's parachute when they bailed out of an aircraft. The badge was issued with a GQ Club Certificate. Refer to p.167 in Warren Carroll's book ‘Eagles Recalled: Air Force Wings of Canada, Great Britain, and the British Commonwealth 1913-1945’.
