WWI CAC Officers Purple Heart group

Clean 30's contract PH numbered 50904 and officially engraved to
ROBERT N. MACKIN
Mackin (should be Jr. but not so on the PH) served with the 57th Coast Artillery in WWI and remained in service to return to the ETO as a staff officer in WWII.  A WWII calling card identifies him as a Colonel and more research is found on line and in the Army Officer Registers!
A fine group to Captain Mackin that includes his Purple Heart, three bar Victory, matching ribbon bar, a double tagged i.d. necklace, and a pair of WWI Captains bars.
