A bit about us!

So often when buying over the internet you are dealing with some anonymous individual that you probably have never heard of and will probably never here from again.  I guess I understand this with Ebay however it makes no sense to me on a web page.  I recently checked out a site on WWI aviation I found advertised in Military Trader.  No where on the site did I learn who I was dealing with or where they were from or what their credentials were?  Furthermore when I emailed about a particular item I received no answer.  And these folks expect me simply to "add to cart" and send them out the $ no questions asked??  I don't think so!
So here is a bit of info about the goofy looking but blessed fella with the great family that your dealing with!
        Andrew H. Lipps

I am originally from Mt. Vernon, Illinois.
We have made Camden, SC our home since 1992 and love it here!
I attended Southern Illinois University and am a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in history and from Francis Marion University with my Masters in Learning Disabilities & Mental Disabilities.  A career for 20 years, militaria is now a hobby.  I currently am in the very rewarding vocation of teaching children with autism in Darlington County School District.  ...and when the weather and time permit I ride my vintage BMW motorcycles.

As  'Wartime Collectables' I have offered quality military items since 1983 and it has been a full time occupation since 1989.  No new-comer to this field we have sold original militaria at shows, by mail, through our shop, and on the web full time for 20 years.  Though primarily interested in American militaria I have a knowledge base in military collectables from the UK, Japan, Germany, & Vietnam.
It is my goal to offer only authentic material and to try and offer material that you cannot obtain elsewhere.  I stand behind what we sell and wish the buyer to be pleased to add the item to his or her collection.  My business is governed by a verse in Ist Thessalonians of the New Testament which reads in part "Let no man go forth and defraud another in any matter".
