Luftwaffe Officer's Service Visor by Erel
A high quality, private purchase, wool/rayon blend whipcord officer's visor. The silver bullion Luftwaffe eagle and wreath / cockade are correctly period hand stitched. The cap's visor, insignia, cord and body are all excellent with light age only, one small moth nip. The lined interior has its full lining and the celluloid sweat shield with a very, very faint "Erel" mark for Robert Lubstein, Berlin. The leather sweatband also has a very faint, impressed, script "Erel" mark. The sweatband is torn, badly damaged and loose in several places, otherwise a beautiful example. The paper size tag "56" is still present.
