Great i.d.ed 14th AAF B24 crewman's group
A2 sith leather patches and blood chit, his named DFC & Air Medal, a pile of photo's with some great nose art, Chinese award for service, misc. smalls and a good selection of paperwork!
All from the estate of an AAF S/Sgt who served in the China Burma India theater of war with the 372th Bomb Squadron of the 308th Bomb Group.
Not sure where ot start with this large group!
The A2 is clean and all original with a good working Talon zipper, some wear to the knit as show below, a great leather 14th AAF shoulder pathc that to me is rarer than the leather 308th Sqdn patch!
The silk blood chit on the reverse is soiled but undamaged.  The A2 comes with his officially named cased DFC & Air Medal and more insignia and ribbons as shown below (note that the Aircrew wing & one ribbon bar have had the posts cut to put in a frame.  There is a PILE of wartime original Brownie camera to 3x4 size photo's and many are captioned and there are a number of flight jacket and nose art photo's.  There is a photo album with several 9x10 images to include 14 great nose art shots.  These photo's are old but may not be wartime.  Never common, I just don't see groups like this as much as I used to.
