Plant Mfg. Co front-loading cup-firing Army 3rd model revolver
 6-shot, 42 caliber, barrel is marked “Plant’s Mfg Co New Haven CT.” on the top of the 5.5” octagonal barrel, serial number 2886 on the bottom of the butt and cylinder marked “Patented July 12, 1859 and July 21, 1863”.  Overall very good and all original, mechanically sound.
