‘Double Erel’ Heer Administration Officers visor cap
An excellent condition, larger sized cap produced in fine field grey wool with green piping Admin. Piping and bullion officer cord. Clean insignia with proper vented cockade eye. The cap has an added band around the body denoting Sonderfuhrer, it is overlayed very neatly to the cap, not sewn.  Money saving transition perhaps?  The rayon lining has a clear label “Ges Gesch EREL Sonderklasse Extra Berlin” under the sweatshield and the owners name. The sweatband is marked as well with “Erel Stirnschutz DRGM DRP Angem” in script. Angem is as I understand it ‘patent is pending’ and helps date the cap before 1940 when the patent was granted Very clean through and through estate purchased visor! About a US size 7 ½. Would be interesting to research the owner!
