Excellently Documented 8th AAF Aircrew Uniform
Uniform of S/Sgt. Earl L. Lehr of Dover, Pennsylvania. A nose gunner on a B24 with the 192nd Bomb Group, 8th AAF. S/Sgt. Lehr flew 16 missions and is credited with downing an ME-109.
An excellent condition early war enlisted four pocket blouse with matching shirt, tie, trousers, and enlisted service cap.
Uniform, all original as worn, features a sterling pinback Air Gunner wing on combat blue wool backing and a sewn on ribbon bar reflecting his service. Comes with an excellent large research folder and ORIGINAL paperwork documenting service and award of Air Medal in the ETO.
