Late war Pacific DFC trio
A fine tribute to 1st Lt. Frank H. Mavri who lost his life on August 7th 1945, less then a month before the end of the war against Japan.  He was piloting the B25 "Sleepy Time Gal" in the 396th Bomb Squadron when they were brought down after a raid on Chiran Airfield in Northern Kyushu.
His group includes excellent condition and officially engraved Distingushed Flying Cross with OLC, Air Medal with multiple OLC's and his Purple Heart.  With forwarding card and still in the cardboard outter boxes.
Research is excellent and includes FOLD3 information as well as poloroid photo's of his final resting place at Jefferson Barracks.
