Identified Marine vet's Kabar
A very nice Mk2 style combat knife with the ricasso marked KA-BAE.  The blade shows light use and age but has been well cared for and is not sharpened or chipped, the grip is equally nice with use but no abuse.  The tip scabbard has been neatly etched with an eagle, globe, and anchor device and IWO JIMA.  An enlisted collar emblem has been attached to the tip of the scabbard and when in hand you'll have no question that it's been there since wartime.   The reverse has been marked to J.J. DeMARCO USMC 1945.  The knife came in a fighting knife collection a few months back with the tag I show attached documenting Private John DeMarco's service, I have no other research or confirmation.  $225.00   ON HOLD
