Corpsman helmet for USN Lt. or Army Capt.
Superb and 100% right set!  Front seam, swivel bale M1 helmet with the proper wartime liner.  You can see on the front where the Captains bars have been carefully scratched away to avoid drawing sniper fire.  The helmet has the distinctive white circle painted on the reverse to denote a Corpsman.  The medics in the Pacific quickly realized that they were being singled out by the Japanese snipers and quite wearing the red cross within the white circle.  This helmet shows some overall age where but no damage and has nice complete original web straps.  $650.00 ON HOLD
