75th Gettysburg Reunion Medal With Original Box
Gibson R. Braden was born in Ravenna, Ohio 22 November 1846. Joined the 6th Ohio Cavalry in Feb 1865. He died 11 October 1938.
A newspaper article found on line here  \Reads in part
"He enlisted at Warren with the 6th Ohio Volunteer Calvary. One of a family of 12, he and four of his brothers served in the Union Army. Of the five, two never came home from the war; one brother was killed at the Battle of Chattanooga and another died from an illness contracted during his service."
His federally issued 75th Gettysburg Reunion medal is in excellent condition, correctly named, is in it's original titled box of issue.
