Posthumous AAF Purple Heart with certificate
An excellent condition Purple Heart officially named to
William A. Gilmore
in it's slightly worn case of issue with his original Purple Heart Certificate and Remembrance Card.
S/Sgt. Gilmore, from Iowa, gave his life on Mayy 29, 1944 serving withthe 415th bomb Squadron of the 98th bomb Group.
