Named WWII US theater made combat knife
Neat 'shop made' combat knife with washer ring grip, brass guard & pommel and a clip point blade.  Overall even light age to the metal fittings and spotting to the blade, no sharpening or damage.
The scabbard is complete and snaps easily.  Officers US device attached to the top and the vets name, service number and home town etched into the reverse.  Haven't had time to research, should be easy enough!.  Do note the damage to the back of the scabbard as shown in the reverse pic below.
