WWII SHAEF Staff officer's uniform with interesting history!
An excellent condition four pocket tailor made Army officer's blouse with matching trousers in equally nice condition.
All original insignia includes and English made SHAEF patch, Meyer Metal General Staff collar embliems, US devices, pinback Lt. Col. leaves and a tailor sewn on ribbon group to include Legion of Merit.
The uniform has at least three names in it but the one tht it is attributed to, and I have no doubts about, is Lt. Col. Edgar Packard Dean.  Dean was a Harvard Professor an throughout the war years and Occupation servce in several high level Restricted and Secret posts to include investigating the German Atomic Bomb capabilities and the US Manhatten District program.
