WWI New York soldiers' Purple Heart group
A fine little group that recently passed through a NY auction house.  The awards are pinned in an old jewelry box with signs they have been in there many years.  Two local Disabled American Veteran's reunioni badges, his officially named and numbered Purple Heart (BB&B #233), four bar WWI Victory medal, numbered State of New York war service medal and Verdun Medal.  Unresearched but came with a note that he was from Syracuse and served in the 4th Division, no other research has been done.
